The TWELFTH INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON RECENT ADVANCES IN DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEMS will be held at the Grand America Hotel, Salt Lake City , Utah , on February 21-24, 2005 . The intent of this symposium is to bring together multidisciplinary researchers in the areas of pharmaceutics, polymer science, cell and molecular biology and medicine. The topics include: Gene and RNA Delivery, Protein, Vaccine and Cell Delivery, Biohybrid Systems, Scaffolds and Biomaterials, Colloidal Drug Delivery Systems and Fast-Melting Tablets, Macromolecular Therapeutics, Transvascular Drug Delivery Systems, Biomaterials and Macromolecular Therapy. Leading academic and industrial scientists from North America , Europe and Asia will be participating in the symposium.
CALL FOR PAPERS: Abstracts are now being accepted for the Twelfth International Symposium on Recent Advances in Drug Delivery Systems. If you are interested in presenting your work during the poster session at the conference submit an abstract for review. Abstracts must be received prior to JANUARY 5 , 2005 . REGISTRATION: The registration fee of $550 per person includes continental breakfast, coffee breaks, reception, banquet dinner, abstract book and all related handout materials. Graduate student registration is available for $250 per student (excludes reception and banquet).
SKIING (Optional): Half-day ski lift pass, lunch and transportation to Alta Ski Resort are available for Tuesday ( February 22, 2005 ) afternoon ($55.00 per person).
PARK CITY: Don't ski - enjoy Tuesday afternoon walking historic Main Street and enjoy lunch at one of many fine restaurants.
HOTELS: A block of rooms has been reserved at the Grand America Hotel (Symposium Headquarters) $189.00 (Premiere Rooms) per night + taxes and the Little America Hotel $119.00 per night (Garden Rooms). On-site registration will begin Sunday, February 20, 2005 . There are a limited number of spaces available for this symposium; an early reply will guarantee your participation. It is also recommended that airline reservations be arranged well in advance, as February is a peak time for skiing in this area.
