ABSTRACT:
A freeze-dried composition containing TPO which comprises thrombopoietin (TPO) protein and saccharides as pharmaceutically acceptable additives. The composition may further contain at least one pharmaceutically acceptable additive selected from among surfactants, amino acids and proteins. Thus a decrease in the activity of TPO employed as the active ingredient can be inhibited or regulated during prolonged storage.
