Respiratory Drug Delivery X will be held at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, April 23-27, 2006. This will mark both the 50th anniversary of the metered dose inhaler and RDD's 10th symposium to discuss advances in Respiratory Drug Delivery
RDD? actively welcomes the submission of innovative research contributions for podium presentation at RDD X. Authors are invited to submit a 200-word summary (purpose, major findings) for consideration by email to info@rddonline.com. The deadline for podium abstract submission is AUGUST 1 2005. Abstracts will be reviewed for originality and merit, and for 'program fit' in RDD X. Successful authors will be contacted by the Organizing Committee by the end of September 2005, before the RDD X program is finalized.

Preliminary Respiratory Drug Delivery X topics will include:
New technologies for enhanced nasal and pulmonary delivery
Drug and device design to modify lung affinity, duration and disposition
COPD and aerosol therapeutics
Vaccines, lung immunology and gene delivery vectors
Pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of insulin and new drugs for pulmonary administration
Patient Preference for different drug delivery platforms
Advances in particle engineering and nanotechnology
New research methods and regulatory science
