ABSTRACT:
A freeze-dried preparation for injection which makes a cis[((1R,2R)-1,2cyclohexanediamine-N,N')bis(R1)]platinum(II) (R1 represents C6-20 alkanoyloxy) suitable for clinical use, and which is reduced in phase separation and viscosity fluctuations and has satisfactory suspensibility and satisfactory handleability in administration. It is obtained by dissolving the cis[((1R,2R)1,2-cyclohexanediamine-N,N')bis(R1)]platinum(II) in 2-methyl-2-propanol and freeze-drying the solution, and has a particle diameter distribution which is centered around 3 to 25 ~m and has a value of D90% of 40 ~m or smaller.
