Company Now Offering Contract Lyophilization And Formulation Optimization Services
LINCOLN, Ma ? IMPACT Technology Consultants today announced the addition of lyophilization capabilities to its process research and development laboratory, located at 88 Jackson Road, Devens, MA. This capability allows:
? Freeze drying cycle development, scale-up, and optimization,
? Formulation optimization and screening studies,
? Small scale non-GMP manufacturing for pre-clinical studies.
The 4.2 ft2 LyoStar Freeze Dryer (FTS Systems, Stone Ridge, NY) became operational in early May and is currently performing lyophilization studies for IMPACT clients.

The IMPACT laboratory is used to conduct process research, scale-up & development, and equipment application experiments for clients. The laboratory has capabilities for studying reaction kinetics, mixing, separation processes, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, materials testing, automation, and now lyophilization.
Through partnerships the laboratory also has cost-effective access to diagnostic and analytical capabilities including freezedrying microscopy and differential scanning calorimetry
