Abstract: Traditional sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) is widely used in biotechnology manufacturing to monitor the purity of therapeutic proteins during formulation and process development. Recently, however, in order to establish a more robust methodology, there has been growing interest in using capillary electrophoresis-SDS to replace traditional SDS-PAGE in the therapeutic protein area.
