Abstract
The preparation for treating vaginosis of bacterial origin comprises the live bacterial mass as the active ingredient, the protective medium, and the fatty base. Lactobacillus and several species of the eubiotic bacteria belonging to bifidobacteria, streptococci, and lactococci are used. One dose of preparation contains 105-109 bacterial bodies. In addition, the preparation contains the acceptable sorbent at a (9-1) : (1-9) ratio and the biologically active additive amounting to 0.05-3.0 mass %. The acceptable fatty base with pH 4.5-7.0 contains no more than 5 mass % of water. The manufacturing process comprises the growth of the appropriate bacterial mass of each bacterium, their immobilization on the acceptable sorbent, the addition of the protective medium and the biologically active additive. The product is then freeze-dried, with the mode of freeze-drying being correspondent to thatrecommended for each bacterial species used in the mixture. The dry preparation is finally mixed with the acceptable fatty base.
