Biologics Portfolio Summit May 17-18, 2007
Boston, MA
Dear Colleague:
I am pleased to announce production of the Pharmaceutical Strategy Series' inaugural executive business forum Biologics Portfolio Summit: Opportunities and Challenges for Antibody and Nanobody Development being held May 17-18, 2007 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Boston, MA.
This executive summit is a concurrent track set within the annual Protein Engineering Summit (PEGS) event produced by Cambridge Healthtech Institute (CHI) that last year attracted over 600 delegates.
The business forum is being designed to enable executives and thought leaders to discuss, debate and network around many pressing high-level strategy issues. I am planning a VIP dinner on Thursday evening and a one-day interactive forum on Friday coupled with intimate roundtable sessions.
Topics to be discussed will include:
The future and key growth strategies for the protein therapeutics market
Up-to-date analysis of the current protein therapeutics market: therapeutic, technology, discovery, and drug delivery trends
Models of successful collaborations and partnerships for both biotech and big pharma: Pharma-Biotech, Biotech-Biotech, and Industry-Academic collaborations
Future investment opportunities and strategies
Understanding the IP landscape
Understanding pricing and reimbursement pressures as well as competition from targeted small molecule drugs and biosimilars
Technology trends: promise vs. reality
Tactics to address the current economics of R&D
