Our company provides consulting and contract research services with emphasis in genetic engineering and tissue culture. Our specialty is in solving problems relating to assays and processes. We have been a contract research organization working in the realm of genetic engineering for 20 years and accordingly have a depth of knowledge of methods and solutions.
In the lab, our expertise is not limited to genetic engineering but extends into other methods and assays, especially PCR (polymerase chain reaction) for detection and analysis, freeze-drying (lyophilization), HTS purifications (96 well formats), homogenization (using glass beads, mills), and tissue culture. As a contract research organization, our list of accomplishments is long and diverse.
The diversity of our clients has lead to wide ranging projects. We serve both major pharmaceutical companies and small laboratory equipment manufacturers. We use our knowledge of and facilities for cell culture, genetic engineering, biochemistry, and microbiology to help clients identify products, understand their use, estimate potential markets, and then develop those products.
When we develop laboratory equipment, consumable products, or applications for clients, or develop new products independently, we often retain the right to sell those products directly. OPS Diagnostics is the sister-company to BT and C that is responsible for the sale of laboratory equipment and related consumables. Through OPS Diagnostics, we design and customize products as well as sell those of our clients. Our laboratory equipment and consumables include shakers, homogenizers, grinding media (vials and balls for grinding corn / soy, specialized glass beads), and specialized freeze-drying chambers used for the aseptic lyophilization of biological samples
