BOC Edwards Pharmaceutical Systems has signed a ?7m deal to supply a combination of its engineered-to-order loading and freeze drying production equipment to one of the world?s largest pharmaceutical manufacturers.
The bespoke system includes four Lyomax freeze dryers and four fixed single-sided automated vial loading/unloading systems the latter of which will be manufactured at the company?s specialised European facility in Dongen, Netherlands.
The deal is expected to have a final total value of over ?12m and reflects BOC Edwards Pharmaceutical Systems? remarkable growth in the last four years during which time the company has doubled in size.
