Welcome to the home page of Frontiers in Biomedical Polymers 2005, FBPS'05 that will be held in Granada, SPAIN, from 16 to 19 June 2005. It is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the 6th International Symposium on Frontiers in Biomedical Polymers which will be held at the Hotel Saray in the historic and mankind heritage city of Granada. The symposia series was started in 1995 and is held every two years in different places of the world. Active participants from academic centres, industries,hospitals and clinical centres is encouraged.
Scientific Topics
The aim of the Symposium is to bring together scientists in both basic and applied biomedical polymer research, and clinicians to present and discuss the most advanced and relevant results, and developments in the following topics:
Novel biomedical polymers and composites.
Advances in controlled drug delivery systems.
Polymeric and composite scaffolds for Tissue Engineering.
Bioactive polymers and composites.
Surface tailoring of biomedical polymers.
Nanopatterning and nanostructural devices.
Interactions between polymer based materials, proteins and cells.
