The NDC 2005 is the third dewatering and drying event organized by the Nordic countries, i.e. Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Iceland. The main purpose of the NDC?05 is to provide a forum for the exchange of technical and scientific information in the field of drying between the industry, academia, research and consulting agencies as well as to promote the best drying practices internationally and in the Nordic nations. The topics for the conference will be the technologies and processes which are important for the industry including the challenges concerned to product quality, product development, troubleshooting, reduction of energy utilization and environmental impact.
Structure of the NDC 2005
The conference is a common initiative taken by the Nordic countries and will be arranged every two years and it will alternate between the countries. The present NDC is organized by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and SINTEF Energy Research in cooperation with Karlstad University, Sweden.
Keynote lectures on major topics will be presented by international recognized speakers.
