Information about our Symposia
The Turbomachinery Laboratory sponsors two annual symposia, held in the Spring and Fall, to promote professional development, technology transfer, peer networking, and information exchange among industry professionals.
Each symposium is an outstanding value for users concerned with maintenance, performance, troubleshooting, operation, and purchase of fluid-handling and rotating equipment.
The exhibits feature products from many key companies in the industry. Exhibiting companies normally send their "first-team" players to this symposium; hence, you can get knowledgeable help at the exhibit hall, in addition to seeing major exhibits of equipment.
The program, including the short courses, is specifically structured to meet the needs of employees with an increasing degree of responsibility for pumps and rotating equipment. Many companies have found the symposia to be an ideal source for meeting their continuing education, professional development, and training requirements.
The technical sessions and the exhibits do not overlap, enabling attendees to concentrate on both program aspects. The program provides an opportunity for attendees to select those lectures, tutorials, and case studies that best meet their personal and professional needs and interests.
The Turbomachinery Symposium continues to be the meeting of choice for turbomachinery users today.
The technical program covers steam and gas turbines, axial, centrifugal, screw, and reciprocating compressors, and auxiliary equipment and services such as bearings, seals, couplings, software, analysis, etc.
The exhibits feature products from many key companies in the industry. In addition to seeing major exhibits of equipment, you can gain knowledgeable help at the exhibit hall from "first-team" players.
