A process for preparing amnion preservable at room temperature comprise: treating clean amnion of placenta with glycerin (0.1%~30%); pre-freezing it in freeze-dried machine for 1~10 hours at the temperature ranging from 0 C to -56 C; starting up the condensing chamber to make the temperature of the cold trap reach -10 C~-56 C; Iyophilizing it under vacuum so that water content of amnion be 1%-20%; then packaging and asepticizing. The amnion obtained by the present process can be preserved for 2~3 years and transmitted conveniently, satisfy the need of clinic at any time, make it favorable to produce amnion dressing on scale, provide enough amnion dressing for eye patient and alleviate the difficulty of clinic.
