Abstract of UA39712
The invention relates to the pharmacology, in particular to the dosage forms of interferon useful for ophthalmology. The aim of the invention consists in providing for the biological activity of interferon in pharmaceutical composition and the eye-drops containing such composition allowing for increasing shelf-life of the product up to three years. The composition contains 1105-6106 IU of interferon per 1 ml of ethylene glycol free aqueous solution. In addition, the composition contains 0.04-0.055 g of dextrane and phosphate buffer, pH 4.0-8.0. The composition is produced as freeze-dried powder. According to the invention, the eye-drops are reconstituted at 1:1 ratio of freeze-dried powder and the solvent.
