Abstract of UA64985

The method for producing the biologically active mixture for restoring prostate function consists in mincing the raw material - the prostate tissue of the slaughtered bulls or mature bull-calves, adding 5-fold volume of 3% aqueous solution of the acetic acid and zinc chloride at a mass ratio of 0.5-0.7 g/l, and isolating the water-soluble thermostable modified cell components originating from the animal tissue. The apyretic water is used for preparing the solutions. The mixture obtained is centrifuged, the supernatant is concentrated and purified by ultrafiltration. The end product is concentrated upon its ultrafiltrational purification and sterilized by filtrating the diluted solution of the final concentrate through the membrane filter with 0.22 ?m pore size. Finally, the product is bottled and freeze-dried.
