FIELD: microbiology, biochemistry, biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparing disaccharide from cellular wall of microorganism Micrococcus lysodeikticus (Micrococcus luteus),i.e. (O-(2-acetamido-2-deoxy-beta-D-glucopyranosyl)-(1>4)-acetamido-3-O-(D-1-carboxyethyl)-2-deoxy-D-glucose used as the parent raw for preparing biologically active substances. Method involves culturing the strain-producer Micrococcus lysodeikticus (M. luteus), treatment of cells with acetone an aqueous solution, enzymatic hydrolysis of cells with lyzozyme and ultrafiltration. Disaccharide is purified on sulfocationite followed by concentrating by reverse osmosis and chromatography purification on high-basic anionite up to recording a compound at column outlet with absorption maximum at wavelength 260 nm and the following elution with sodium chloride solution. Purification is continued on neutral hydrophilic sorbent with the following exchange of counterion on sulfocationite and isolation of the end product by evaporation and lyophilization.
