Abstract
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lyophilization treatment device, with which a recording body surface in a lyophobic state (initial state) can be made into a uniform lyophilic state.
SOLUTION: This lyophilization treatment device subjects the recording body surface of a recording body 1 to lyophilization treatment. The recording body 1 has a recording layer composed of a recording material which is decreased in a retreating contact angle when heated in a state of contact with liquid and becomes lyophilic (a lyophilic state) to a liquid such as an ink or the like, and is increased in the retreating contact angle when heated in a state of non-contact with a liquid and becomes lyophobic (a lyophobic state) to the liquid. The lyophilization treatment device is provided with a means 2, 7a-7f, 11 for transporting the recording body 1, a means 7a, 7b for allowing the recording body 1 to contact with a liquid 4 in a heated state, a means for cooling the recording body 1 in contact with the liquid 4, a means 8, 9 for removing/cleaning the liquid after the cooling and a means 10 for drying the recording body 1. A container 3 for storing the heated liquid is provided with a means 6 for stirring the liquid or a means for heating the liquid or both of them.
