Abstract
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new lyophilization stabilizer, and to provide a method for producing a lyophilized sample in the presence of the same.
SOLUTION: When a sample such as a protein is lyophilized in the presence of the lyophilization stabilizer containing a glucosylureide compound, the storage stability of the sample can be enhanced. The glucosylureide compound is preferably N-carbamoyl-&beta -D-glucopyranosylamine or diglucoseureide. A lyophilized enzyme produced by lyophilizing an enzyme in the presence of the lyophilization stabilizer.
