Abstract
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freeze-dried microparticle preparation capable of readily obtaining a microparticle suspension in which very fine particles in which a slightly water-soluble medicine is coated with a lipid mixture are dispersed without causing coagulation when rehydrated, and to provide a method for preparing the preparation.
SOLUTION: The present invention provides the freeze-dried microparticle preparation of the slightly water-soluble medicine coated with the lipid mixture containing a lipid and an ionic compound and comprising at least one kind of sugar selected from the group consisting of sucrose, trehalose and xylitol and reproducing the particle diameter of the preparation before lyophilization when rehydrated and provides a method for preparing the preparation.
