Abstract:
Method for making a fibrillar microstructure comprising providing a plurality of composite filaments, each of them comprising domains of a first polymer dispersed within a matrix of a second polymer, forming a fabric from the filaments, removing the matrix polymer from the fabric with a liquid solvent and removing the solvent by lyophilization or by displacing it with a drying liquid that is below its critical point and removing this drying liquid by converting it to a gas above its critical point.
